As conservatives we remain completely dumbfounded…. How could this have happened and/or what planet do we find ourselves on?

Future historians will all need to employ a shrink when they examine our current Obama times.
Consider that when you are in the soup swimming around with all the other little veggies and such, you may not be aware of what kind of soup it actually is….beef, creamy tomato, or chicken. Case in point: The election of ’08.
Even though our country had been at war for several years with folks who are predominantly Muslim, because a group of radical Muslims killed 3000 Americans one crisp September morning, just a little over half the country votes for a guy who is fascinated by everything Muslim.
Of course there is absolutely no more wrongness with being Muslim than professing to be a deep water Baptist…unless you use that as an excuse and shield to go kill Americans.
By the ‘lection of ’08, wasn’t America completely saturated and worn out with Muslin stuff? They called it “war fatigue”, but they could have called it ” just about anything from that side of the world fatigue”. Weren’t we ready to move on to some other sociological hobby like maybe studying folks in LA? (Lower Alabama.)
It boggles the imagination and strains the credulity of the ages that, under the circumstances, even the liberals of this country would vote in a man of Obama’s heritage and sympathies. Just think about it for a minute. (The answer, of course, is that the majority of his lib voters are relatively ignorant about their country, history, and current events.
Some have heard of the Middle East, but they couldn’t tell you where it is.)

It reminds me of a recent documentary called, “Ben Hur”. At the end of the chariot race, which reminded everyone of Talladega, “Pontius Pilate, commends him for a great victory. You are the people’s one true god for the time being. Permit us to worship.” As you cast your eyes upon the millions of slavish worshipers in the stands, you see the true sponsors of Obama.
From far away, if you listen closely, you can hear him saying that to our current fleeting god.
P. Pilate warns, “Obama, popular though you are now, your fame is fleeting.”
On Friday June 5th, in the year 2009, year one of the reign of the lord their god, Obama, another pious acolyte, Evan Thomas of Newsweek, finally put it into words:

And He, the King of Kings, has not disappointed! Obama is a regular whirling dervish of Middle Eastern activities!
Lately, his feverish interests with the Muslim world have been on display once again. While he has not shown one iota of interest in people, places, and things typically on an American president’s to-do list, he has swooned over the Muslim guys. Sure, he has met and et with just about every dictator there is, but those opportunities were perfunctory. He has been over to see his Muslim pals not once, but twice, though he only bowed once.
I understand fascination with other cultures. Many people have their favorite places they would like to visit. With Obama, it is the Middle East and all cultures except the Jewish culture. Seems like they are verboten.
Unfortunately, His enthusiasm is not reciprocated. At best, his lavish affections have been returned at roughly the same level as his popularity ratings here in the United Sates. A lot of Middle Eastern guys, well steeped in what it takes to be a Messiah really don’t dig Obama (May he now be God Himself! *Evan Thomas.)
Whereas Americans are trusting and gullible, folks over there are not. Their view of the goodness of gubment is quite the opposite of ours, even though there is precious little they can do about it. About the same as here these days.

All of the most influential conservative talkers of our time all say and agree that it is important to watch Obama closely. They say that while he distracts you with miracles made with the right hand, it is the left one that you must follow, for it is that one that does the nasty.
We disagree vehemently. We offer that Obama works magic with both hands. Witness this recent faux news conference. He is speaking to the news media on the importance of pork.
Says Obama with clarity,”Pork is important. Look at this pig. This is a pork pig…>blah blah blah” .
Later, checking the AP, UP, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc., we find this unified photo everywhere… Unified means that all news media agree…

The point of this example is that I sincerely do not know if his proponents defend his press conference with a pig because they are that stupid, or they defend him because they think we are that stupid. If you have the solution, take a moment to let me know the answer.
