Below is correspondence from AlabamaTeaParty.org to Alabama senators, Shelby and Sessions. I will publish the answer when it is received…

Dear Senator Shelby,
First, thank you for your service to our state. I am writing an identical mail to you and Senator Sessions. I am the owner/editor of AlabamaTeaParty.org and this mail and your reply will be published on the associated blog… http://alabamateatime.blogspot.com/ so I would kindly ask you to reply by email also.

I have two questions. The first concerns the health debate… In the TeaParty world we think that a major health care bill, at this time, should be very low on the “things to do” list. We are NOT interested in a compromise bill. We simply do not want this health care bill…at all. Later, when time and allies permit, conservative style bills permitting selling health insurance across state lines and tort reform would be appreciated. But we DO NOT want any part of this current health care bill/democrat trick.

Q: Would you agree with this statement? If not, what part?

Secondly… Do Republican senators have a “conservative caucus”? If not, would you be in favor of starting one to stand up for conservative ideals, such as those espoused by the TeaParty movement? If there is a conservative caucus, TeaParty folks can see no gain from it as the moderate to weakling leftist members of the party have been ascendant for the last several years, handing the Democrats the White House, and having learned nothing from their mistakes.
If there is a conservative caucus, what do you propose to do to put it back on a meaningful right, real right path? I thank you in advance for your answers. They will be published on the AlabamaTeaParty.org blog. Sincerely, AlabamaTeaParty.org

Alabamians, like the rest of the country, are feeling the squeeze. Many of us are out of work, and some, for the first time in their lives.
My message to you is DO NOT give up.
I must tell you that unlike the last comparable period in our history, the Jimmy Carter years, we don’t see a Ronald Regan on the horizon to ride to our salvation. However, with the momentum for change being what it is, the times are ripe for one.
But in the meantime, the future being what it is, do not give up. Instead, look on this as a time of opportunity. If you are out of work, what else do you have to do anyway? Use your time off to take your own fate in your hands. From this trying forge, great things may still be wrought.
Don’t sit around moping and hoping. Put your brain to work. Work on the things you are good at but didn’t have time to do before. Make your hobby pay. Search the internet for legitimate opportunity. It is the greatest collection of ideas in history. Find something that fits and pursue it. What do you have to lose? When you have nothing, anything new is an accomplishment, gain, and blessing, however small.
Make this opportunity time. Fight despair, boredom, and depression by actively looking for your next break. Yes, continue scanning the jobs listings, but when you’re done, search for ways to do what you actually want to do. Again, what do you have to lose?
In this Obamanation economy, we must help ourselves, for often, we’re all we have… Us… Ourselves.
Do not give up. Use your spare time to devise and work a plan. If you can’t make butter and egg money cutting grass in your neighborhood this month, then grab your rake.
They say there is strength in numbers, and this is very much so within the TeaParty movement. There is also strength in the employment numbers. Since there are so many people looking for the same jobs, you know you need to look to other ways to provide for yourself.
Conservatives can’t turn to crime or welfare. We’re not wired that way. Conservatives turn to themselves and adapt and overcome. Use this emergency as a time to rethink and reorder. Look deeply within yourself and find the strength to turn this man made adversity in to man made opportunity. Fight. Fight. Fight.

We crave to extend our heartfelt and generous congratulations to the nightly drama, Robot Chicken, for being first runner up for the prestigious 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for Humor.

Robot Chicken, brainchild of Seth Green and Matthew Senreich faithfully and lovingly portrayed President Bush and Vice President Cheney as bumbling boobs and psychopathic killers for years.
Robot Chicken just completed their 2009 season with nary a mention of President Obama, (May he be blessed 72 times) Hillary Clinton, or funny man Vice President Biden.
Had Seth or Matthew been polled on the subject, no doubt they would have said, “We find nothing funny about the President, our Lord Obama, or any of his cast of characters. Bidibip bidipip bidipip, that’s all folks!” Ooops….Stupid Monkey!

Holy Omberation! Rush Limbaugh is savaged by left leaning sports pundits, news pundits, and many important figures who do not look all that much like him. We’re talking, of course, about the Rev Jesse Jackson and Foghorn Leghorn, aka Al Sharpton. They deem Rush the ultimate sports racist who does not deserve to “own” a football team. Hmmn.
Before this debacle first surfaced, the moment I got wind that Rush was in the market for a football team, I made the statement (very sadly, not here) that he was making a colossal mistake.
Now, admittedly, since I am a posimist at all times, my thought was that he would be stretched too thin in doing his football duties along with his real radio gig duties. Sidetracked.
I was wrong, but…right. Rush hasn’t even gotten to the football duty stage, and he is completely broadscattered over the racial comments coming in from people who don’t look exactly like him. Perhaps you saw it coming. I didn’t. I should have.

Rush, I will defend your right to do whatever you want with your dough to your last dollar. If you want to get in your jet and go bomb an active volcano with 500 pound bags of $50′s, get on with it. If you want to go to New Zealand, we’ll miss you, but it’s your life. If you want to donate all your money to Algore…Well, I’d get kind steamed…but it’s your money.
However, as a kind of gladwish on my part, here is what I’d like to see you do with some of your money. I’d like to see you forget footsball team and think News Ownership. NewsTeam Rush. The American people are only one little whim away from being universally propagandized. If you’re going to get put through a Ronco Slice and Dice machine for any little thing you do anyway, why not start your very own News Operation??
You see, the problem with the Blonde Network (Fox) is that it is just one network.
I can promise you with all the certainty that Obama thinks he is some kind of second coming, that if the powers at Fox ever told their staff to become 2/3 more liberal, most of them would do it in a nonce, and think nary a thing about it. All the blonds would do it, and gladly. Or not do it and be glad too. Blonds have more fun. (Maybe Megan Kelly would be sad.) Come to think of it, some of the not blonds would switch sides too. I can think of a couple of not blond candidates at Fox who could fake tingly impulses running up and down their legs.

Senatoress Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, but really T-Maine (Republican Traitoress) voted with the dems today, as we all expected her to do to make sure we all have that which we do not wish to have….gubment health care. President Obama, (bow low and subjugate yourself 72 times in his presence) congratulated Olympia Snowe T-Maine publicly!
In another story from a month or so ago, a Gallup Poll pronounced that Alabama is indeed the MOST Conservative state in the nation, followed by Mississippi. Alabamians allow as how they are 49% conservative…Mississippi in at 48%. Others on the top 10 conservative list are: Utah, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, all at 47 percent; South Carolina, 46 percent; North Dakota, 45 percent; and South Dakota, Idaho, and Wyoming, all at 44 percent.

Let us, the conservatives of the most conservative states make a pact to share our resources to help the underdeveloped states of our nation, like Maine, to become more conservative. And in becoming more conservative, may they throw off the yolk that is on their collective faces and give Olympia Snowe T-Maine the boot she so richly deserves and has been begging for for years and years and years.
