On Oct. 30 AlabamaTeaParty.org wrote a thoughtful, open letter to Senators Shelby and Sessions. You can find it below. As of November 13 there has been no reply from either Senator. Make of it what you will.

Tim James is running for the gubner of Alabama these days. Here is the opening paragraph for his idea of a “howdy” mail….

I am hard pressed to think of a time in our state’s history when we’ve needed a Governor more who will stand and fight for us. Today, states are in danger of being forced into deficit spending like we have never seen in our history. The Obama Administration and the Democrats in Washington have made it clear that they intend to force massive government control on all of us – the latest and most extreme example of which is the Healthcare Reform bill that was passed by the House last weekend. It doesn’t seem to matter to them what the people want. Well, it matters to me. That’s why I am running for Governor. You can be sure that I will fight for Alabama every step of the way. But I need your help. Won’t you make an immediate online contribution of $500, $200, $100, $50 or $25 to help me fight for you?

Well heck fire Tim. So, you’re going to fight for us? Who you gonna fight? Gloves on or off? Who do you model your stance after…Muhammad Ali or maybe Sugar Ray?  I always love to hear from big strong politicians who are going to fight for me. Just fight fight fight. Send the mail on down the line. All the time.

The new fact is that we’re not automatically marching down that Republican road. Well, we’re running away from the Democrat road as fast as we can, but you’re going to have to do something more than usual to get us on your train. We done been used, abused, and taken down the flowery path way too many times. So, what you got in that left hook for us?
Early Review: Fact is that I’d be more impressed with you if you would answer mail once in awhile. We have written to you not once, but twice. Nary an answer back. Maybe you were too busy out fighting somewhere or the other? What is your record? How many knockouts? TKO’s? How many times you been counted out?
Yessir Mr. Tim. You’re certainly going to have to work for it this time. Blame it on your predecessors. Blame it on your word processors.
So, whatcha got in that punch? You got the fire in your belly? Crappin thunder and messing lightning? Yeah, I’m having fun with you, because you don’t answer mails…and that’s part of it not only right now, but later on too. If a man won’t respond before the ‘lection…why in the world would you expect him to be any different after? Done heard that song before and before and before. Can’t fool us again.
Tim, there is possible redemption. Impress us. Answer your mail. Winning is more than just fighting for the money. Even sissy fanged lib, Nancy Pelosi can do that, and she probably doesn’t answer mail either…..More Tea…Party…anyone?

The update is that I have not received a reply. I requested an email response. One week later I haven’t heard from them in any capacity. My request to them was in two parts:

1. I was seeking answers to my questions.
2. I was running a test to see if I would get a timely reply.

I believe my email was courteous and asked fair questions. More, since the republicans aren’t allowed to pass legislation, I assume they have more leisure time to respond to mail these days. You must make up your own mind as to what this means.

Meanwhile, an excellent documentary is airing weekly on the ABC television network. Friendly aliens, racially referred to as Leeberuls, from beyond the planets have come to earth to offer us universal health care in exchange for access to all of our aborted feti, which they…do something with. They like to throw a lot of lavish dinners for their human commie pinko pals.
President Obama, (May his name be blessed 72 times) is not seen. Speculation is that he is busy on the golf course, shooting hoops, and throwing lavish $100 a pound Kobe steak dinners for his commie pinko pals.
The documentary shows accurately how our young are being co-opted…lured into intimate and unnatural contact with the Leeberuls by the use of socialist progressive propaganda promulgated by tv “journalists” friendly the the Leeberul cause.
Strangely enough, you won’t see this on Fox. Only the television network called ABC has the guts to expose this menace from beyond the heavens. For a solid year, city sized Leeberul spacecraft have been hovering above all of our major cities and NOT once did an Obama supporter ever think to look up. Now that that the menace from beyond the solar system has been exposed for what it is…still the liberals are silent. Silent, but really pissed that the Leeberuls stold the universal health care issue.
