Comic Book Origins of Obama
For one thing you can be sure… When a liberal tells you one thing, you must believe the exact opposite.
The libs have always maintained that Bush, still a potent damager, was the second coming of Hitler, a known fascist. Conservatives still aren’t sure what Bush was, but he was no fascist. Possibly something more akin to a political Mother Teresa.
Then, a funny thing happened. Bush got elected and the libs went ape. They adopted a line from Star Trek’s Kahn, which was actually from Moby Dick. It went something like this, “From hell’s heart, I stab at thee. For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee.” I placed that in bold, because it’s important to remember. The beginnings of the long lived Obama the Punisher comic book was begun there. It was to have a 12 year run. The liberals spat and out popped Obama, chain mail, sword, and all.
Whereas conservatives are motivated to remove themselves from their comfortable couches only by fear, the libs answer to a different calling; Hate. It’s hate Bush this and hate Bush that for the liberals among us.
Does not hate have negative connotations in our daily lives? Another line from Moby Dick, “Speak not to me of blasphemy, man; I’d strike the sun if it insulted me.” The ramifications of this attitude is much like a silly person sitting in a large mixed crowd scrawling chalk messages on a large rusty old bomb. The
message reads, ” To conservatives with love from Libby the Liberator.” Then the thing goes off, and everyone within 100 yards is wiped out including Libby. The moral to that story is that when you start something that is constructed of hate, you chance taking out the kin as well as the foe. Something like, America, perhaps?
The status quo Conservatives do not lightly remove themselves from their comfortable couches, for they know that actions have consequences. However, they also know that inaction also risks danger. So, grudgingly, painfully, lumberingly, the Conservatives arise to do battle with the lunatic left because they know there is nothing else for it. When they get limbered up and get the kinks out they can be a mighty creature. And when they are done and the battle won, and the country is safe again, they will go back to their couches.
