Long years ago when I purchased my first internet computer, the first thing I wanted to do was to make some pen friends. I chose two. One of them lives in St. Pete, Russia. We call each other cuzzins, and he is a real hoot.
Lately, cuzzin Alex and his wife have been doing exceptionally well. He is an excellent photographer and sent a stunning collection of photos from their recent trip to Finland.
It seems like they go on holiday about every other month these days. It was not so, early on in our relationship, beginning in 1996 or so. No. Things were very different then. I was the one having all the fun and he was busy flinging off the chains of history.
I was lamenting to him recently that nowadays things seemed to be…reversed.

He wrote back: “Commies broke my life. And nowadays they break yours.”

Such a simple sentence… Such a simple sentiment… Such irony.

Now in America, the USA, some forced… some eagerly… extend wrists to the new political blacksmiths, the overmasters in Washington, for new manacles.

The bloody black irony brings an involuntary smile to my lips. Many famous prognosticators, extrapolaters, and predictors, who are currently, long dead, and deserving of the eternal dirt nap, looked into the future and saw the dark times, such as now we fight, but none saw the manner of its making. And not a one EVER saw a time when Russia would lecture America, (and rightfully so) on the evils of communism. (Such a wild, ignorant, simpleton, made up tale would NEVER have been accepted for publication, even from a fantasy magazine.)

Strangely, like another greatly remembered man of history, a simple paper hanger, who began with a Beer Hall Putsch, and went on to become leader of the greatest Doofus regime of the last century, Obama’s beginnings were of the Street Putsch variety. But being only a poor African Hawaiian American without a dad, racially challenged by the white man, he could only advance as far as the Leader Of The Free World…
Just as Hitler smiled from his Wolfsschanze or Wolf’s Lair, Obama chortles from vigneto di Marta or simply, Martha’s Vineyard.
Word is on the street that he’s going to make Martha the Vineyard Czar. Obama takes care of his friends that he doesn’t throw under the bus.
Liberals would not understand a word written here, except they might research a trip to the Wolfsschanze or Martha’s Vineyard for some Wiener Schnitzel, or wine and cheese.
