First, I thank you for taking the time to view this blog. It’s heartening to see new readers coming aboard daily, mostly through Twitter. 

Many blogs are regurgitations of other blogs or recitations of the news of the moment, and they serve their purposes. Here, we try to dig a little deeper through the detritus of politics to expose the genesis of garbage.

I have learned lately that the new take on liberalism is that there are the “progressives” which are the leaders, and the regular low life liberals who are the brainless robot followers. I have touched on this before, in different ways, but this is the gist. The top alpha dogs of liberalism are the green toothed radical commie loving progressives, who drive the luckless libs around like sheep to the slaughter. Come voting time, the progressives are the ones passing out free lunches, whereas the line libs are the ones taking them and being told which line to get into.
Of course, this is a bit simplistic overall, but you must trust me when I tell you that at times it happens just this way. This is exclusive territory of the common Democrat. (democratius naughtius).
On the other side, you have the God fearing Republicans. As we have come to realize, most of them are just toothless lapdogs for their far flung masters. Lazy and fat, they sit around picking their teeth, gleefully watching the democrats take this country straight to hell, biding their days, waiting for the time when they are put back into power by a grateful public, tired of the wicked ways of the dems.


When it comes to the electorate things don’t seem to change much. You have:

• The know nothing Godless dems who do what they are told.
• The know nothing God fearing Republicans who do whatever they are told.
• The youth who can’t see more than 5 minutes into the future who vote for the flashy candidate.
• The grubbing, conniving old farts with the gimme gimme gimme mentality who most often trick themselves into voting for the absolute anti-Christ of candidates. 
  
• The majority, who has never voted and don’t plan to anytime soon. Can sing the latest popular tune word for word, but can’t say why the ocean always touches the shore. They think they are the smart ones, but prove otherwise by giving their liberty away on a Walmart cheese tray every 2 to 4 years.
  
• The far seeing activists. Most often totally ignored. Their last dim triumph was to support Ross Perot, thereby throwing the election to Bill Clinton.

Somewhere out of this mess comes a winner and the union is preserved. Well, until the last election… Now we’re battling a president and congress hell bent to destroy the union. Heck, it just goes to prove once again that we’re a liberal nation after all. What other people, loudly proclaiming the “live free or die” motto would tolerate a bunch of monkeys screwing up the whole show? We’re talking about a minuscule bunch of monkeys too. What is it? Like 535 “legislators” and a president and vice president? Add in all the white house czars and it doesn’t come up to much more than 600 people, the majority, of which is working hard to unfound our nation. Now, put that against the rest of us…303,824,640. Let’s see…that’s nearly 304 million against 600. Well, hold on… If we work the percentages, separating the good guys from the bad guys…Maybe 150 million against 600? Still a good working ratio. So, why do we let the 600 push us around all the time?
The fact is that we have a compact, the 303 million and the 600. The deal is that as long as they kinda do what we want, they can stay and play. What the 303 million never figured on was that they had elected a whole mess of kamikaze legislators who would work their will, and the electorate be damned and dipped in filth.
How in God’s name, I ask, are we to feel when our elected reps fiddle with healthcare while our country burns? The #1 issue has been and forever shall be employment. Yet, congress and the president, in their infinite wisdom spend all their time and all our resources on healthcare. On a scale of twenty of our most important issues, healthcare ranks about negative 7000.

And our do nothing Republicans do nothing…. Don’t you remember during the term of BushII, the dems never missed an opportunity to try and sabotage Bush?

A Republican legislator runs over a frog on the way to work and a wise dem sees it…. Before lunch, they have that flat frog laid out on foot square wooden platform covered in red velvet, fake bed posts supporting a fake canopy, the translucent curtains drawn. The dems march around and around in the house chamber, holding that frog up high, bawling at the top of their lungs, “John Brown’s Frog Lies A’Moulderin’ In The Grave“…….
So, where are our Republican “Partisans?” You’ll find not one blown railroad trestle or even tacks strewn across the senate chamber path. Whereas the dems fight fight fight, (fight to destroy the nation)…the Republicans sit on their lardy butts, eating egg an pickle sandwiches, watching the endless lib parade go by.

I’m hacked. I’m heaped. I’m PO’d. You know and I know that the dems are taking this country straight to the bad place, and Obama waits for us all, flicking his forked tail, grinning, the flames licking behind him. The country simply can not sustain all that the libs are putting on it. The best of our breed say, “We’ll overcome, somehow.” Well, I ask…HOW? Tell me.
We’re in the midst of a man made disaster of biblical proportions that could be stopped as easily as government just getting out of the way. But now, even the carbon dioxide you breathe out is subject to government control. How much more can the country take?
Personally, I think the events have already been set well into motion that will result in the back of this great country being broken and laid waste.
As I pet the head of my border collie, he looks trustingly into my eyes, not having a clue as to what’s coming. I fear he is in for a big surprise. I hope I can train him up good to pull a plow.
Ok, so you think everything is just hunky, and will work and and stuff? And you think the constitution still counts for something. Please tell me how and what.
I say, hurry 2010 and 2012. I say, we musn’t make mistakes. I say the next three years will dictate whether this country lives (albeit more poorly and drained) or succumbs to the weight and burden placed upon her by the 600.
