The Year of Reassessing

Expanding on my last post regarding Rush flaking on the troops. With the exception of Greta (Greata doesn’t really get it) they all did. Hannity said he’d come back in if it looked like it was going to a vote. We’ll see…
We reassessed the democrats and all news operations except Fox in 2009. That’s old news. The new news is that we’re just about ready to reassess the Republicans and our talk show hosts.
I’m not saying that Harry Reid based his health care strategy on the holiday vacation sched of our leaders, namely, Rush, Hannity, Beck, and Levin…but I’ll bet you a sack of donuts that the subject came up.
You know Reid and his quislings had a good belly laugh when it was confirmed that all of our generals were taking a much needed holiday powder. It only helps their rotten cause, you see.
In 2010 we need to expect more from our talking heads. We also need to expect more from our elected leaders as well. Here in Alabama the question must be asked of our congressional folks…”Did you do all you could do?”
Just voting no is not an acceptable answer. We expected and demanded that you be in there scrapping and causing a major ruckus all the way. The proof of the pudding is in my last blog piece. Watch them closely in the coming year.
We have come to the end of the polite line in 2009. We demand more. Either get with the program or get out at the next available election.
We have finally come to the realization that the status quo is unacceptable and that our only choice is to take what’s dished out.
And that goes double for our vacationing talk show hosts. There is a time for frolic and a time for not!
Don’t you EVEN come back from your combo Christmas and New Years vacation, after everything is lost and sit at your microphone all humphy and preachy like you were on the battle line all the time.
You’re not worthy. You should hang your heads in shame. Shame! At the time we needed you the most…you weren’t there.
The culmination of a year’s work on this health care mess is at hand. Where are you? Where are you?
