Utah Tea Party Alert – Congratulations In Order To State Son, Senator Orin Hatch.
The reaction of Democrats in the Congress of the United States of America to Republican candidates for Supreme Court is a foregone conclusion, and not worth getting gray hair over.
However, the reaction of certain Republicans to Democrat Supreme Court candidates is also a foregone conclusion. Unlike scurrilous dems, good conservatives don’t turn a blind eye when their elected leaders misbehave.
Quoth reports on Orin Hatch, Republican Utah, “Hatch calls Kagan filibuster ‘dirty thing to do’
A Republican filibuster of Elena Kagan would be “an unheard of, dirty thing to do,” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said Thursday.
Utah Tea Party conservatives should kindly remind Senator Hatch that while he is free to vote however seems best, he was elected to actually stand up for conservative ideals. Bending over backwards for colloquy and intramural congeniality is not in his job description when it comes to defending Obama clone Kagan. In effect, he lobbed a ticking SNAFU bomb into the machinations of any of his Republican colleagues who would choose to defend the nation by resisting the “foregone conclusion” of the ascendancy of candidate Kagan.
For his stern comeuppance of anyone who would so ungraciously suggest that he stand up on his hind legs and defend the nation by doing whatever he can to deny office to ultra progressive sweetheart Elena Kagan, he earns the ATP Obama Lap Poodle Award. Hearty congratulations to Senator Hatch. Hear hear! Harrumph!
