I want to thank you for stopping by from time to time. The only pay we receive, aside from the clicks on those ad things on the side over there, are the views from like minded folks out there.

The main mission of the AlabamaTeaParty.org website is to let you know that you aren’t alone in your opinions. We all think pretty much alike. So, hopefully, you’ll read something here you already know, and once in awhile, maybe something you forgot or hadn’t thought about.

In the pursuance of that mission, I have to confess that poking fun at liberals is…well…fun! And my my, have you noticed lately that more and more power libs are coming out of the closets as full blown progressives?

Did any of us even know what a progressive was, pre-Obama?? I sure didn’t. Now, feeling their oats, this secret society of lunatics is venturing out into the sunlight. This is a good thing. I say let the minions of darkness sally forth! Makes them all the easier to knock over come voting day. There are a whole lot more of US than THEM. I say box them up and let them out only during the designated evening hours on Halloween. Then they can be real scary and go boo for awhile until we toss them back in the closet where they belong.

Back to the AlabamaTeaParty.org… If you are new here, you’ll note that back over on the left side near the top, there is the ATP Archives. I hope you will go click on some of those links. The reason is that most of the back articles won’t become out of date until 2014. There is some good stuff there.

And, if you Twitter, please click above to follow along with us so that when we wreet…you’ll get a tweet. We couldn’t think of a good rhyming word for write, you see… And don’t worry about getting bombarded with tweets from us. Never happens. But, if you do get a tweet, and you know how…be sure to retweet.  Btw, if you happen to use Firefox for your browser, you should grab the Firefox addon Echofon to use as your Tweet thingy. We love it. If you don’t do the tweet thing, you might consider it. Once you get the concept down, it’s a neat way to instantly get the skinny from all your favorite conservatives.

And, also very important…If you like our brand of conservatism here, please please click on the Share This button at the bottom of your favorite articles. If you don’t know what this means, you’ll learn quickly that it will lead to social bookmarking sites, where you can “bookmark” the article. Each bookmark is invaluable in helping our AlabamaTeaParty.org site rise in the search engine listings. Muito importante,  (real monstro important) as they say down south.

And, I know you have something to say. We screen all comments, and all comments of worth are posted. We won’t “out” you and we’re not keeping a mailing list. Don’t be afraid to speak your mind. Conservatives typically provide insightful and thoughtful comments, whereas liberals just rant. Rants won’t make the cut..hint hint.

So, again, we thank you so much for spending your time with us here at the AlabamaTeaParty.org.  We promise to never ever waste it.
