Your Alabama Political Party at Work and Play!
If you try to research the two parties in Alabama, you don’t have much to work with. Statewide, there is published information, but you won’t have much luck making satisfying contacts. Locally, I have been convinced for a long time that neither party wants your participation. I don’t know if it’s a country club thing, a secret thing, a snob thing, or a dumb butt kind of thing. Walk in cold and try to pal up with the local party apparatchik. It’s not going to happen, around my digs anyway. Politics may be big out in the western states and in Montgomery, but the rest of Alabama isn’t invited to participate.
And that’s fine! This means that grass root organizations like our tea parties have an open door to the throngs and masses out there who are milling around, wanting to do something…anything…if someone would just tell them where to go. Maybe it’s not this easy, but I can confidently say that there is absolutely no reason to worry about an organized political party stealing your membership!
Make no mistake, we must work with the Republicans, but our first job needs to be to remind them who’s the boss around here. They have had a free ride since we put them in power in the late 70′s, and we did put them in power. They didn’t just magic themselves numero uno because of their good looks. They have gotten a little too big for their britches. When you’re dealing with an entrenched entity, and they are, you need to be forceful in your dealings. Show a little tooth behind the smile. Got leverage? Use it.
They are, they are uh…busy, doing something. Let us get their attention.

I realize what you are saying about the aspect of trying to get in. The Montgomery crowd knows your name for a split second, election time. Then it is, who are you again. They never call or email back once the are in. Same old stuff.
I agree we must deal with the Republicans, the other hand we need to organize a force or party after the 2012 election. Romney is our leader. The contrast between obama and Romney is night and day. I was going to say black and white but someone would criticize me of being racist. NOT.
Back to my point. Start formulating a movement that is total economics, get a list of company’s that support our view. If they do not, do not shop there. I have been saying this for years. But no one had the balls to do it. I do it in my own life. You have to cut off the money, just like we need to audit the fed. Simple, but the boys love that free money and plane rides to where ever.
My point, the 60% that does not even vote has to have a way to voice their opinion. They don’t get involved because they see it a useless. I understand that.
The Tea party is good, but has fallen into the good old boy trap, wooed by the top dogs at the rep party. I know how that is. Hard to resist.
We must be true to the constitution, but we have bad area’s of the country that vote these idiots over and over. McCain- idiot, Graham-back stabber, Snow-dem in rep clothing, Lieberman-two face jack ass, Water in Cal-racist bitch she is, Pelosi-oz is missing a witch, Reid-satin spin, the list is endless.
Quit frankly, all that signed the NDAA act should be held on treason. All of them. It wiped out the bill of rights, states rights in one fell swoop. They are all oblivious to that fact. Joke.
We need a way to reach out to the 60% and start to get them to register to vote for the next 2016, hard to do now since the next election is just months away. We must push for Romney, this will eliminate obama, give us some time to organize and Romney will be better for the country, hands down. This way we can start to have a life again and plan for the larger push. But first and foremost we must remove obama. So what ever little grievances you have about Romney, put them aside, he is much greater than obama.
Ask yourself this question, Did Romney ever participate in an American flag burning ceremony. Obama and his wife have stated publicly that they have attended several. That fact alone should do it for you. So let us start by pushing Romney and then we can form a larger group than the rep party total. This will be our goal. Financial mite that is the key. Starve the ones that don’t believe and think like us.
Lets make a list and check it twice. Amen
