I have often said that writing is fun. It is also profitable. Writing for AlabamaTeaParty.org might just be your vehicle to a life of leisure and sloth when the checks start to come in! Prosperous conservative writers include Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Glenn Beck. If you believe you measure up to ATP’s high mark, then lay your text down.

We seriously look for individuals to add enhancing text to our ATP website. Your article will be featured at the top of the stack with your byline.

Copious Rules:

1. 100% home grown fresh material only. No retreads. Any quoted material must be sourced.

2. Your byline on the article.

3. Your form style should be similar to the other articles you see on ATP.

4. Your article may be serious, funny, satirical, political, historical, or strange combinations we have never seen before. Whatever else, it must be conservative in nature and pertinent to the mission of the website.

5. 500-1000 words.

6. There is no use submitting mean or petty prose. No wacko mumblings. We expect our writers to be professional. Also smart. A writer may become a caveman, but the caveman can never ever become a writer. Your article must be quality writing…and formatted correctly. If you write like a pro, we both will know it.

7. Simply submit your work via email. ATP Submissions

8. Your article may contain a link back to your website at the bottom of your piece, along with a short bio, if you wish. Of course, your link musn’t lead back to a hateful or naughty website.

9. Payment: We don’t charge one penny. However, let us know where to look for the link back to ATP on your website. You must place a link back to ATP prominently on your site. Prominent means that it is visible to search engines for indexing from your index page. For example, on ATP, we have a “links” link on our index page.

10. We also suggest that once your article is published, you should immediately socially bookmark it and twitter it if you can. It helps ATP as well as your site!

A hint… Write from the heart. Make sure your article is similar in nature to the voluminous articleage you find here. Work to promote conservatism. Make it presentable. Do these  things and you’ll hear back from staff writers, Bob, Sally, or possibly even me.
